A few years ago, people choosing to Work From Home were mainly young mums, with young children, who chose to supplement their income with a little Work From Home. It gave them something besides the housework and family to concentrate upon.

A lot of these women did not really require a high income, they were working for pocket money, and saw the job as something of a pastime, something they could do for themselves which did not affect their families.

Now, things have altered geatly and many more of the british workforce are choosing to Work From Home. There may be many reasons for this change, but without doubt the increase in Internet Business over recent years has had some effect.

Many females who at one time would have left work, regardless of their career beforehand, once they got married, or started their families. It is no longer like this. Most females now want to carry on with their careers, regardless of their family situation, and the opportunity to Work From Home has made this more accessible to them.
